Behind KAMERA is Felix Reisel. The German-language lyrics of the singer, songwriter, and producer are sometimes narrative-observational, sometimes introspective, sometimes impulsively direct. The music is pop, the vibe is soul, the atmosphere is club here, dream there.

The stage performance is intense. Felix Reisel, as KAMERA, transports his musical biography and the work of 1970s soul singers into the present and imbues it with breaks. The arrangements dissolve conventional song structures, and references to pop culture history are found everywhere. For live performances, KAMERA performs with a 3-member ensemble.
